Did we say leaf? Oh, we must have meant “leave” but we have fall on our minds! Fall is a truly spectacular time of the year and visitors often say they don’t want to leave when their vacation is over. If you are a fan of the season, we will talk about the best parts of fall and how you can embrace them from one of our Gatlinburg cabins!

Chilly, Peaceful Nights and Mornings

Those sweltering summer temps have finally been sent packing. Gone are the days of 90 degree weather and staying indoors. Fall has arrived and that means one thing: comfortable weather with slightly chilly mornings and evenings. If you’re anything like me, there is nothing more peaceful than wrapping up in a blanket and watching the sunrise on a fall morning. Or perhaps, drinking a hot cup of tea while you watch the sun set and turn the night sky black. Either way, the calmness that comes from that experience is unlike any other!

Fall Color Tapestry

If you look out from the porch of your Gatlinburg cabin rental, you will see a tapestry of various colors painted on the trees. From burnt orange, to dull yellows, burgundy and cherry red, brown leaves littered throughout. Few things are more beautiful than a Smoky Mountain fall. You could sit and stare at this view forever! We promise, you’ll never forget it!

Warm Drinks and Sweet Treats

The holidays are right around the corner, and it’s time to embrace the season! Like we mentioned, the temps are cooler, and the warm drinks and sweet treat are plentiful! Grab a warm cup of something and explore downtown Gatlinburg as it’s decorated for the coming of fall! As you stroll downtown, stop in the Candy Kitchen for some incredible sweet treats to tide you over. After all, what’s a trip to Gatlinburg without some delectable, indulgent treats?!

Now that you’ve heard why we love fall so much, you understand how wonderful this time of year can be! Book your Gatlinburg cabin rental and experience all of these fall pastimes first hand!
