That Holiday Feeling: Winter Magic in Gatlinburg

WNTER MAGIC 3.jpg

Hard to believe it's that time of year again, Winter Magic in Gatlinburg! The Winterfest season is really popular with visitors and locals alike. Last night Gatlinburg celebrated the beginning of the season with its Annual Chili Cook-Off and lighting of all of the seasonal displays. Millions of LED lights mark the season in Gatlinburg! Enjoy the Gatlinburg Winter Magic Trolley Ride of Lights that will enchant kids and adults alike. You’ll see dozens of winter characters and scenes sparkle in the crisp air. Did you know that only in the last few years Gatlinburg switched over to all LED lights for the displays, and they can power these very inexpensively compared to the old light setup. What a wondrous sight and it’s good to know that very little electricity is used to make it happen!

If you want a fun way to enjoy the spirit of the season, there’s nothing better than catching the Winter Magic trolley tour at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 pm. You can buy your tickets online and come with your friends. This ride makes a great group outing; it’s also lots of fun for a corporate outing, too. Make a day of it shopping in Gatlinburg then have fun after the sun goes down as you ride the festive holiday trolley and see how the city is transformed by the enchanting lights!
