Shopping in Gatlinburg may be part of why many visitors come to the area each season with such a wide variety of opptions there is something for every taste. There are so many galleries, boutiques, and specialty shops located in downtown Gatlinburg that may catch your interest. Just strolling along will take you past more than 450 shops. All of them are conveniently located just a trolley ride away or within walking distance.

Mountain Mall is located across from Ripley’s Aquarium in downtown Gatlinburg at Traffic Light #6. There are a variety of specialty shops, health &beauty, apparel, jewelry, accessories, and many more stores. With over 30 wonderful stores, there’s plenty of shopping to experience for all. The entire shopping center has a unique mountain theme that sets it apart from other malls. You can find items such as hand-made jewelry, quilts, dolls, home-made candy, original art work and even outfits for your dog. Some of the featured shops at Mountain Mall are Home & Sports Collection, Lavi’s Jewelry, and Nice & Naughty.

The Village is adjacent to the Pancake Pantry, a little past Traffic Light #6. 27 boutiques, galleries, eateries, and apparel shops can be found tucked away in a European village-styled setting. Take your shopping experience along brick pathways, bubbly water fountains, and tranquil landscaping. Those with an eye for great architect will admire the antique trim moldings, handmade bricks, and heavy carved doors that give The Village its Old World style. The Village features shops like The Day Hiker, Mountain Village Décor, the Silver Tree, Tervis, and Candle Cottage.

Baskin’s Square Mall is located across from The Village, between Traffic Light #6 and Traffic Light #7. There are quite a few great little shops that will catch your eye and entice you to buy a souvenir or two. A back-in-time portrait with you wearing authentic costumes, taken at Old Tyme Portraits, can be the perfect memoir of your trip to Gatlinburg. Other shops include Mountain Woodcarvers, Doc’s Magic Shop, and The Lollipop Guild.

If you’re interested in fine arts and crafts, the Shops at Carousel Gardens, is the place to visit. It’s located at Traffic Light #3, surrounded by a beautiful garden setting that reflects and inspire the olden days of Gatlinburg. The works of more than 45 local artisans and artists are showcased on two different floors. You’ll find pottery, paintings, textiles painting, crafts, etc. all inspired by locals.
