You might hear us say various seasons are our favorite here in the Smokies, but you can’t blame us! We love the winter because of the snow covered mountains, hot coco and skiing. We love the spring because the flowers are starting to bloom, the mountains are green and hiking is at its finest! We love the summer because school is out and everybody comes to visit us! In the summer you can whitewater raft, go tubing, hit the pool or Dollywood’s Splash Country. But the fall is truly a special time in the Smoky Mountains, here’s why.
