  The place was fantastic, perfect for our party size 4 adults, 2 kids. The location could not have been better, close enough to plenty of events yet far enough to have a great view. Can't thank you enough for how easy the check-in and check-out process was.

  Amazing view! Beautiful, clean cabin, Comfortable beds & well stocked kitchen. Loved it! The road leading up to it was steeper than I could've imagined & we had a bear peek in the porch window while I was cooking. We enjoyed the electric fireplaces & the hot tub & the kids loved the game room. A night to remember. Would definitely recommend if you don't have a ridiculous fear of heights. lol

  What an amazing place!! Location was perfect! The cabin was gorgeous, clean, and welcoming. We loved watching a mama bear and her 4 cubs each day. Can’t wait to come back!!

  We had a tremendous experience. The property was clean with plenty of room for our family of 5. It had all the amenities we needed for a great vacation. Interactions with property manager was great...very responsive and helpful. We would love to stay here again.

  The cabin was amazing! Plenty of room for comfort and relaxation. Very clean and has all the necessities needed for our stay! Easy to reserve and friendly staff that was always available with answers to our questions. On our four day stay there had the experience every morning and afternoon to watch a mother and four cubs, at a safe distance. With that being said please be watchful. Thank you Diamond Mountain Rental! Will definitely be back!!

  We are 2 couples in our early 60s. We left Smoky's Den II yesterday after a 4 night stay. We couldn't have been happier with this cabin. It certainly is new, and the new home smell hits you when you walk in the door. It is very clean and shiny and was the perfect respite up the mountain after being in the hustle and bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. In fact, after the first day touring the city and walking our legs off, we may have spent just as much time relaxing in this beautiful cabin as we spent downtown. We watched a mama bear and her cubs exploring each morning and evening from the wrap around deck and enjoyed that as much if not more than any other part of our trip! The bear family never disappointed us, each evening...the little cubs wrestling each other or climbing a nearby tree and exploring a not quite finished home being constructed next door. (Don't worry about noise from that, btw.....we were never awakened by the work being done). One evening, another adult even showed up for a bit. The cabin has 2 master suites, so we didn't have to draw straws to see who got the nicest bedroom, which was nice. The cabin would be fine for a family as well, as the 3rd bedroom had a bunk bed with a full bed at the bottom. Also a game room where we had a little fun one afternoon. Rooms were huge and the main level completely open. Beds were comfortable and the bedrooms quiet. The bathrooms had double sinks and nice showers (I believe the upstairs also has a tub). Plenty of space to get ready for the day. The wrap around deck was an enjoyable spot to enjoy the mountain breeze in the evening and overlook the lights of downtown without the noise. One evening we watched a thunderstorm roll in from the deck, which was cool. Definitely great views from the deck. The kitchen was equipped with the utensils and dishes we needed for the stay. The living room furniture was comfortable for an evening in. We are really happy that this choice turned out to be everything we had hoped and more. The host was easy to work with and available if needed by text, but we never saw him/her, so non-intrusive for sure. I would definitely choose Smokys Den II again if I am ever in the Gatlinburg area.

  The cabin was clean, spacious, and has stunning views! Our first morning there we had our morning coffee on the deck and watched a mother bear and her four cubs.

  We traveled June 18-24 and this cabin was wonderful with amazing views. The kitchen had everything that you needed including a crock pot. This cabin was also very popular for bear encounters. They walked by in the evening every night of our 6 night stay. That is not an exaggeration. When dealing with the staff at Diamond Mountain rentals they were very helpful and extremely nice. They answered all our questions. We will defiantly stay here again.

  This cabin was amazingly spacious and beautiful!!! I felt so cozy! The views were amazing as well!! I wholeheartedly feel like this is the perfect cabin for a winter visit; I can imagine the snowy landscape would be even more beautiful!! The fall leaves and crisp air from the wrap around balcony was my favorite part!! I can’t wait to come back again!!

  The best!!!! Cabin was awesome! View was awesome! Not one complaint!! Didn't see a bear though, but really that's okay. Saw 7 wild turkeys as we left.😄

  This is an AMAZING property with FANTASTIC views. Our 5yr old & 7yr old really loved this place. I highly recommend Smoky's Den II.
