Back Deck Views from Our Gatlinburg cabin rentalscabin mountain view

One of the most spectacular views you can experience is right there in the "back yard" of one of our Gatlinburg cabin rentals. You are sure to become one with the paint splash of colors that will encompass the sky as a Smoky Mountain sunset lowers right before your very eyes.

Mt. LeConte

Mt. LeConte is a desirable atmosphere for the adventurer. LeConte is one of the most sought after areas considering the amount of history you walk through to get to the panoramas. There are several vantage points on your way to the top, with desirable names such as Inspiration Point, Myrtle Point and The Eye of the Needle. What's in a name, right? Well, an awful lot! Feast your eyes on all the mountain has to offer you.

Bluff Mountain

Bluff Mountain is a local favorite thriving with some of the best views in town. Bluff Mountain has a crooked peak giving it an artistic street view during twilight. Atop the mountain, you will find several pull-offs with a rocky ledge perfect for sitting. Creep out onto the rock formations and breathe it all in slowly. Watching the sky from here is interesting because the angle at which the sun hits the ridges gives curvature and texture mimicking brushstrokes over the hills and valleys. If you stay to watch the sun go down, do not look away. The sun fades directly into the center of the mountains like a melting yolk, so beautiful.

The Overlook

The Overlook is a communal gathering place to look out into the distance in Gatlinburg. You can see far out at Mt. Leconte or adjust your eyes downward and see the bustle of downtown Gatlinburg. On a clear day, you can even see closely where the tree lines begin to bare due to elevation restricting the growth of the pine.

If you have a soft spot for the open air, visit the Smoky Mountains and stay in one of our Gatlinburg cabins and experience the magic that one can only feel here.
